Initial Thoughts:
The first thing you’ll notice when you purchase this product is its bargain-basement
price. This is an organic product for $9.99 in a size that you can use more
than once. I would argue that this alone is reason enough to stock up on this
product. The second thing that will surely grab your attention is the smell. As
a Naturalista who is trying to incorporate more “natural” products into my hair
regimen I have learned to embrace many less inviting aromas. This Deep Treatment Masque, however, reminds
me of vanilla cake, cinnamon butter, and butter cookies all rolled into one. So
Good!
Is it just me or does this look delicious too! |
This week's product arsenal... |
The other thing you might notice about
the Deep Treatment Masque is its rather
thick consistency. They don’t call it a masque for nothing.
This product is thick and creamy which I favor. I typically add a few products
to my deep conditioner (olive oil, shea butter, honey, extracts of nettle and
horsetail) and it has a tendency to make my conditioner very runny. This can be
a hassle when applying it to your hair (be warned conditioner in your eye can
cause some temporary eye irritation J)
Nevertheless, this product still remained thick after my additional additives and was easy to apply.I used this product along with my hair steamer for about 25 minutes and then rinsed in cool water
